Why book collecting? I’ve been an avid reader most of my life and have always wanted to either be a librarian or be in some aspect of selling books. As a result, I am doing what I love and can spend hours, cataloging my collection to my satisfaction.
This blog will chronicle acquisitions added to my book collection, most of which I sell on etsy at GenreReads where I offer First Edition and other books of interest. A few of my other personal interests such as Estate sale shopping and sewing will also be addressed occasionally on the blog.
In addition to blogging about my collection and etsy offerings, I will address my experiences in acquisition, helpful resources that i’ve learned from including the usefulness of bibliographies and catalogues, reviews of books i’ve read and other pursuits related to book collecting.
